Mouth of the Month Club
Welcome to our home page!  The dental office in Zurich has been around since 1974 and for the last twenty eight years, Dr. Julie Bargiglione has been the sole dentist at the practice, serving the community of Zurich and area. The practice is proud to offer a full range of dental care, from brighter and whiter smiles to functional restorations. We are happy to see new patients and take great care of our existing ones!

Quote of the month
Do you need to see the dentist?   If you answer no to any of these questions, you do.
1.  Have you seen your dentist for a routine cleaning within the last 6 months?
2.  Do you know what colour Rosemary's hair is right now?
3.  Do you brush your teeth and floss at least twice per day?
Our Services
We offer a full range of dental
services including after hours and emergency service.

Huron County is operating under Orange status. We continue to follow Public Health guidelines and those of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association.

While many things have changed in this challenging time, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. Our office has always maintained strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols. When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different.

•You will be asked to wait outside the office or in your car and we will call you when you arrive.  This is to  minimize the time you are in the office. If you don’t have a cel one of us will come out to car to get you.

•We will ask some screening questions before your appointment and then again when you arrive. I would encourage you to answer these questions honestly.  The screening questions are asked to keep ourselves, our families and our other patients safe.

•If you have an upcoming appointment and develop symptoms of COVID, or have to travel out of the country or to a hot spot within Canada, please advise the office ahead of time so we can determine whether rescheduling makes sense.

•We will ask that you wear a mask or face covering (scarf, bandana) when you enter the clinic.

•We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter and exit the clinic.

•We have eliminated our waiting room and, generally speaking we will admit you to the clinic when we are able to bring you directly into the operatory to avoid having patients use the waiting room at all.

•Appointments will be timed to allow for physical distancing between patients. This might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the clinic at one time.

•We ask that you enter the clinic alone. Exceptions will be made for children that need parents present or for translators or caregivers.

-We ask that you touch as little as possible, We will open doors for you and are planning to make the experience as touchless as possible

If you have already booked a hygiene appointment in the future, it is likely that this appointment will need to be juggled. Please be patient and we’ll contact you to sort that out. If you have any questions, please let us know.

To make an appointment, call our office at (519) 2364341 or email us at

Thank you for patience and loyalty throughout this ordeal. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back!

Speaking of the 'F' word, did you know this about floss?
Commercial floss was first manufactured in 1882 and it was made of silk.  The newest material used to make floss that we've heard about is Gore-tex.  Maybe it was Gore-Tex floss that was used by a prison inmate in West Virginia to braid floss into a rope and scale the wall and escape!  If you don't use floss, that's exactly where Rosemary will be sending you:  dental jail!
